1. Program Overview
Program name: Driyu Pet Safety Alerts
Driyu LLC uses text messages (SMS) and in-app notifications strictly for transactional and safety-related purposes associated with pet identification and recovery.
Driyu LLC does not send marketing messages, advertisements, promotions, or bulk outreach communications.
2. What Messages Are Sent
Messages are sent only in response to safety-critical or user-initiated events, including:
- When a Driyu pet ID tag is scanned
- When a found-pet location is reported
- When a pet's recovery status changes
- When account or security verification is required (e.g., OTP codes)
3. Who Receives Messages
Messages are sent only to:
- The registered pet owner
- Authorized guardians added by the pet owner
Driyu LLC does not send messages to purchased lists, scraped phone numbers, or third parties.
4. Example Messages
Pet Found Alert
"Blue has been located near Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX. Log in to view details."
Tag Scan Notification
"Someone just scanned Blue's Driyu tag. Open your dashboard to respond."
Recovery Confirmation
"Blue has been marked as safely reunited. No further action is required."
Account Verification
"Your Driyu verification code is 482193. This code expires in 10 minutes."
5. How You Opt In
You provide consent to receive SMS messages from the Driyu Pet Safety Alerts program by checking the clearly labeled opt-in box during account registration or tag activation. This is an affirmative action — consent is not assumed from account creation alone.
Providing your phone number and checking the opt-in box constitutes your express written consent to receive automated text messages from Driyu related to:
- Lost pet alerts and tag scan notifications
- Tag activation confirmations
- Account verification and security codes
- Safety-related status updates
Your consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or subscription.
6. Message Frequency and Rates
Message frequency varies based on your usage and pet safety activity. Frequency may increase during active lost pet alerts.
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
7. How to Opt Out
You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any Driyu SMS message; or
- Disabling SMS notifications in your account dashboard settings.
After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message. To opt back in, reply START or re-enable SMS notifications in your account settings. Note: opting out of SMS does not affect in-app notifications, which you can manage separately in your account settings.
